Martin Cody: Hello everyone. My name is Martin Cody senior vice president of sales and marketing at Madaket Health.
Martin Cody: I want to take a minute in this Madaket Minute to actually recognize an organization that, in my opinion, went over and above recently at a conference that I attended. I’m speaking specifically about the Florida Hfma chapter.
Martin Cody: Now, their regional conference was entitled Innovate to Elevate, and I think that captures the essence of what’s happening in healthcare right now because every organization is looking to innovate. We still have a staffing shortage. We still have regulatory and compliance issues. We have cybersecurity issues, and they had breakouts on just about every single one of these topics. I particularly like the keynote address by Reggie Hodges, former NFL punter who seemingly was cut about nine different times during his career, and what he learned in each one of those instances. What a great, refreshing caliber of individual to have be a keynote.
Martin Cody: Now, what makes a meeting great is not only the caliber of the guests that are going to be speaking, but the location, the entertainment, again, the speakers. Having an app that works so that you can interact with attendees and potentially, you know, update your entire schedule. Have people get ahold of you.
Martin Cody: Florida chapter of Hfma pulled out all the stops. The entertainment was a white party where everyone wore white. It was a great event, but what impressed me most was the authenticity and availability of the senior leadership that were in attendance. They gave of themselves willingly because all they wanted to do was solve problems, or, in a word, elevate the experience of the attendees.
